Kingdom Come: Deliverance developer Warhorse Studios hit by cyberattack

Another recent incident, Kingdom Come: Deliverance developer Warhorse Studios revealed they've been hit in a cyberattack. We don't exactly know many details from it, but they've announced it publicly so it must be relatively serious.

Official Statement from Warhorse Studios Regarding Cybersecurity Incident

Warhorse Studios confirms that it has been the target of a cyberattack. We are working with cybersecurity experts to secure our systems, investigate the incident, and assess its full impact. The attack involved unauthorized access to company systems as well as access to company data. We are coordinating with the relevant authorities as the investigation continues.

Martin Frývaldský, CEO of Warhorse Studios: “This is a serious incident for Warhorse Studios and everyone affected. Our immediate priority is to secure our systems, establish the full extent of the breach, and take the necessary steps to protect our employees, partners, and community. We are dedicating the resources needed to address this situation and will communicate further information as soon as we responsibly can.”

As the investigation continues, Warhorse Studios is not conducting interviews or providing additional comments at this time. We will share further verified information when it becomes available.

Hopefully they'll be able to get the situation sorted. I certainly wouldn't want to be a security admin in the times of AI agents - what a nightmare. We also only just reported on the Luanti (formerly Minetest) ContentDB also being hit.
