Activision and the team at Toys 4 Bob have just released a new blog post that celebrates not only everyone’s favourite purple dragon’s birthday, but the the community of fans that love the game. It’s Spyro Community Day 2026, and it comes with a sneak peek at Spyro: A Realm Beyond.

While the blog post is primarily celebrating the fans that love Spyro so much, the team have noted it’s a very special time, due in large part because there’s actually a new Spyro game coming early next year, the recently announced Spyro: A Realm Beyond.

So beyond the video above, there’s also a few sneak peeks at this new Spyro adeventure, which is no bad thing at all! Per the blog post –

Every September, Spyro™ fans around the world gather to celebrate the purple dragon that has inspired adventure and captured the imaginations of
generations.

This year, on Spyro Community Day, we celebrate all of you. Your unwavering enthusiasm, passion, and creativity have helped to keep Spyro soaring through the years. Whether you’ve been here since the original trilogy, revisiting favorite moments in the Reignited Trilogy, sharing fan art, creating content, or introducing new players to Spyro’s world, this community has always been at the heart of the franchise.

When it comes to the new game, there’s a nice look at one of the early regions, called ‘Arcadian Vale’, which is one of the early regions players will discover in Spyro: A Realm Beyond. Per the team –

Arcadian Vale captures the charm and wonder that defines Spyro’s new adventure. Made up of a calm, serene atmosphere, Arcadian Vale is a vibrant
landscape filled with natural beauty.

Across the scene are cascading waterfalls tumbling down from towering cliffs. Ancient stone structures and weathered monuments rise from the terrain while lush greenery blankets the valley floor, creating a destination that feels magical and alive.

There’s also a good look at plenty of new creatures and even a mysterious character…
