Time to get spooky on The Stevetendo Show!

Steve Tyminski October 26, 2026 4:00 PM Konami 1

This week is spooky week on The Stevetendo Show, so be prepared to get your pants scared off. We'll start the week off by finally starting our Castlevania: Belmont's Curse playthrough on the show. I have been playing it in my spare time and having a great time. You play the role of Rose Belmont, trying to take down the evil demon himself, Count Dracula.

The game has some challenging platforming mechanics that have been tough but fair. The game also boasts a great voice acting cast. Abby Trott plays Rose, and she does a great job in the role. I think she's becoming one of my favorite voice actors currently. I have heard some people complain about the music in the game, but I have been really enjoying it thus far. Set to go live at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET, join The Stevetendo Show for the start of Castlevania: Belmont's Curse playthrough. Bring a change of clothes because it's going to get scary!

Shackers who want to join in on the fun can head over to the Shacknews Twitch channel, where you can tune into The Stevetendo Show every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

If you can't make tonight's show, you can watch Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET. I mentioned earlier but this week is spooky games week on the show. The plan is to play Elden Ring on Wednesday night. As for Tuesday night, I think we're going to play Dead Reset. It's a game that has old-school cinematics that feel right out of the Sega-CD. Now, plans change but expect this to be the schedule for the rest of the week!

I really want to play some Tape to Tape on the show so you should expect to see it ver soon. If it wasn't Halloween, I'd be playing it a lot this week. You can also go ahead and pencil in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake on the schedule. That comes out next week and you know we're playing it. Also, enjoy Halloween if you participate and if you give out Tootsie rolls or Hershey bars, you can go ahead and send some Stevetendo's way!
