This should have been done years ago!
I never warmed up to any of the Lego games. I have not really played any of them and just given one or two a small chance because they were part of a bundle. It might have been one of the Harry Potter Lego games. In any case, I am not a big fan of adventure games. And with Lego , it always felt like they took popular franchises, made adventure games, and slapped a Lego theme on them. I never thought it was necessary to stick Lego on it.

But as I said, I am not a fan of adventure games, so I was even more critical then. But this… LEGO Skylines… this feels natural! This feels what a Lego game should be. This feels like my childhood, where I spent days building my little city with a post and bus service (all in one because I was lacking proper vehicles). I had LEGO Fabuland and my older brother’s Lego with several street plates.
So I am really curious and also excited about this game! Yes, Cities Skylines 2 is… well… let’s just say it didn’t live up to expectations. But the first one was great! And at least, Paradox hasn’t given up on the sequel yet. So there is a certain foundation to build on here.
